Prior to traveling to Japan for IUKM2019 in Nara, please review the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan website to clarify your visa requirements. If required, please be sure to apply for a visa that provides a sufficient time frame for your participation (a few months are needed in general).

If you need acceptance letters for your visa application, please contact iukm2019visa@sa.eei.eng.osaka-u.ac.jp with the following information and items.

• Filled VISA Questionnaire form(s)
• Certificate of employment or enrollment (electronic copy)
• Travel itinerary/receipt (electronic copy)
• Confirmation of your hotel booking (electronic copy)

Acceptance letters should only be issued to Speakers/Presenters and Committee members who have paid the required registration fee in full. When you plan to travel with your family and/or students who do not present any paper, you should apply for visas together.
